TN ROOF GREEN

The system is used for green roof construction on residential and public buildings and structures. Green roof reduces energy costs, creates aesthetically attractive landscape and recreational space, increases biodiversity in urban areas and regulates the temperature and humidity in the building and the environment.

The system includes:

  1. Soil with plants
  2. Drainage membrane with geotextile
  3. Extruded polystyrene
  4. Geotextile, 300 g/m2
  5. Bitumen membrane resistant to root penetration
  6. *Underlay bitumen membrane
  7. Bitumen primer
  8. Reinforced sand cement screed ≥ 50 mm thick
  9. Sloping layer
  10. Reinforced concrete base

  • Description

The system is used for green roof construction on residential and public buildings and structures. Green roof reduces energy costs, creates aesthetically attractive landscape and recreational space, increases biodiversity in urban areas and regulates the temperature and humidity in the building and the environment. Can be used on buildings and structures of any height and area of the roof, which has a sufficient resistance to construction load and the slope of at least 2%.

The system has passed tests according to EN 13948 „Determination of resistance to root penetration” and is certified for use in green roof systems.
Waterproofing system is made of two layers of polymer-bitumen membrane: regular underlay membrane and cap sheet membrane with an additional chemical and mechanical protection, which make it resistant to damage caused by roots of plants. Waterproofing layer also serves as a vapor barrier.
Thermal insulation is made of extruded polystyrene with comprehensive strength, bio-resistance and minimal water absorption properties, which make this material indispensable for application on inverted roofing systems. It also provides an additional protection for waterproofing layers from mechanical damage.
Drainage membrane with geotextile allows effectively removing rainwater out of the system.
